Project Calendar
Belgium & France— June/July 2012 (In planning)
A project is in the planning stages to look at innovative missions and evangelism in western Europe. More information will follow as this project is finalized.
Brazil — July/August 2012 (In planning)
A project is in the planning stages to look at the work of missions in central Brazil. More information will follow as this project is finalized.
Guayaquil, Ecuador — July 2011
In the barrios around Guayaquil, Ecuador's infamously dangerous city, one man is rescuing the abandoned. Children are often sent out in the streets to fend for themselves, often then preyed upon by older children and adults. Gabriel has set up homes wherein these children can feel safe and secure from those who would take advantage of them.
Mexico, Migrant Ministries in USA — July 2010
Our theme for this year's trips was the condition of the immigrant communities on both sides of the US/Mexico; families in the colinias in Tijuana and the workers in the Californian agricultural heartland in and around Salinas.
Belgium, Macedonia, & Kosovë — April 2009
This was a rather quick trip to Europe. We started out in Macedonia visiting a ministry that works with the Roma in that area. We managed, with the help of our contacts in Skopje, to arrange an excursion into Kosovë. This Kosovë excursion has importance to a larger project we are working on, that is a look into churches and missions work in countries unfriendly to the work of missions and evangelical churches.
After that we will flew to Belgium to meet up with a good friend who has started a new ministry. It is a church plant, but with an innovative format intended to be effective in this era of a humanistic European culture. We were fortunate enough to be with them for their first Easter celebration. This was an exciting look at the "new" church in western Europe.
Fortaleza, Brazil — October 2008
This was our third trip to Fortaleza. On the first trip we were honored to see the start of a new church in Patacas, near Fortaleza. The first three young men who would become the start of this new church came forward to profess their faith in Christ.
On a subsequent trip we saw God add another 30 to 35 believers to this new congregation. This 2008 trip was a follow-up on the church and the community it serves.
